Hardware-mixed ADPCM voices via DSP
The Wii's Hollywood GPU package includes an audio DSP similar to the GameCube's, capable of mixing up to 64 ADPCM voices. The Wii also supports streaming audio and is backward-compatible with GameCube audio.
